HOW TO USE THREADLESS JEWELS PROPERLY
STAINLESS PIN
STEP 1
Using brass pliers grip the pin at the end of the jewel and insert it into the hole of the post for about 1/3 of its length.
STEP 2
Bend the pin approximately 5° – 10° using the post as a lever.
By doing that, please make sure not to move the pliers.
STEP 3
Extract the pin from the hole and check the bend angle.
In case of wrong bending, go back to STEP 2 and correct the angle.
STEP 4
Press the jewel to insert it inside the post.
N.B. Apply pressure to the pin in order to avoid shear stresses that could break the joint of the jewel.
If the pressure required for insertion is excessive, it means that the pin has been bent more than necessary.
Go back to STEP 2 and correct the angle.
HOW TO USE THREADED JEWELS PROPERLY
STEEL THREAD
STEP 1
Place the thread on the hole in the post, making sure it is well centered.
STEP 2
Screw the end by turning it clockwise until it rests on the post.
To avoid any damage to the joint of the jewel, do not apply excessive force when tightening.
N.B. Steel guarantees a longer duration of the thread over time, but despite that please remember that gold is a very malleable material and therefore it must be handled with care during the screwing phase. This procedure should be exclusively done by professionals in the sector.
PLEASE AVOID
WARNING: Shear stresses should be avoided while inserting the ending, because they could damage the joint of the jewel.
N.B. JEWELRY DAMAGED DUE TO INCORRECT USE WILL NOT BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY.
